In Lucca, the National Museums also open at night and at reduced prices

From the end of August through October, the National Museums of Lucca will follow a schedule of evening openings, which will also allow visitors to visit the two museums at a reduced price.

Lucca’s two National Museums, namely the National Museum of Palazzo Mansi and the National Museum of Villa Guinigi, will kick off a program of evening openings as part of the enhancement program promoted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Therefore, it will be possible to visit the two museums also in the evening with extended hours, that is, from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (last entry at 10 p.m.), and in addition, in this time slot, it will be possible to enter at a reduced price. We are talking about really small amounts: 2 euros to enter individual museums, 3.25 euros the cumulative ticket.

It will be possible to visit the museum in the evening exclusively on the following days: August 31, 2, 9, 14, 16 and 30 September, and October 7. The initiative is also part of September Lucca, the month that the city of Lucca traditionally reserves for fairs, events, sporting events and various other activities.
