It is entitled SecretImpressionists the exhibition that, as we anticipated, will open the exhibition activities of Palazzo Bonaparte in Rome’s central Piazza Venezia. “Secrets,” because all the works that will be displayed in the rooms of the palace just restored by Generali Valore Cultura come from private collections that are rarely accessible. There are works by Claude Monet, Gustave Caillebotte, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Paul Cézanne, Camille Pissarro, Alfred Sisley, and Berthe Morisot. Not only Impressionists, however: there will also be works by artists from immediately later periods, starting with Paul Gauguin and Paul Signac. The works have been exceptionally loaned for the exhibition.
The exhibition, which will run from October 6, 2019 to March 8, 2020, and has been heralded as the most important exhibition onImpressionism ever held in Rome, is organized by the Arthemisia Group and opens Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets: 15 euros full, 12 euros reduced (reservations required for groups), 5 euros reduced schools (primary and secondary schools, reservations required). For reservations call 06 87 15 111. Info at www.mostrepalazzobonaparte.it.
