The full day includes departures at 9:30 a.m. and return by 6 p.m.; Minibus transportation, tour guide for the entire day, aperitif/tasting based on typical products, entrance fees to museums and tourist resources; lunch (not included in the participation fee) either packed or at a restaurant along the route.

The Valleys of Carnia around Mount Zoncolan (From July 1 to October 8, 2022)

An itinerary to discover the scenic and cultural beauty of the valleys around Zoncolan, from Cercivento to Ravascletto to the Degano Valley. Arrival in Cercivento, where mosaics, murals and frescoes on the walls of public and private houses have transformed this small village into a kind of open-air Bible. Continuation to Ravascletto, Borgo Autentico d’Italia situated in a sunny basin dominated by Mount Crostis and Mount Zoncolan, and arrival at the small village of Salars to meet the famous Carnic photographer Ulderica Da Pozzo, who has transformed her childhood home Cjasa da Duga into a cultural center dedicated to memory and photography. An itinerary to discover the culture and beauty of the Dolomite peaks of Sappada and the authenticity and natural environment of the Valley of Time and Pesariis. Arrival in Sappada, Plodn in the local dialect, a famous mountain resort at an altitude of 1250 meters, surrounded by the Dolomites, which has become one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Start of visit from Sappada Vecchia with its traditional “Blockbau” architecture, entirely made of wood with horizontal beams. Stop for a visit to the Ethnographic Center, which offers an itinerary to discover Sappada’s cultural heritage, and then to the famous “Plodar Kelder” dairy for a tasting of cheeses and cold cuts produced according to ancient recipes. In the heart of Carnia among art, archaeology and traditions (June 11 to September 10, 2022)

An itinerary in the heart of Carnia to discover Iulium Carnicum, an ancient Roman center; the Verzegnis plateau with its orchards; and Invillino, an ancient Longobard center on the Tagliamento River. Arrival in Zuglio, whose name was originally Iulium Carnicum: it was an ancient Roman center founded, during the proconsulate of Julius Caesar (59-49 B.C.) near the so-called Via Iulia Augusta, which connected Aquileia with the province of Noricum, and is today the main archaeological center of Carnia.
