She has a degree in Economic History from the State University of Milan, directed the communications office of the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome from 2001 to 2006, worked as head of the secretariat of Communications Minister Paolo Gentiloni from 2006 to 2008 and as head of Institutional Relations and European Community Relations of the Lazio Region from 2008 to 2010. In 2012 she coordinated committees for Renzi in Lazio during the primaries and was elected in the primaries for Lazio parliamentarians in the same year. She was elected deputy of the 17th legislature of the Italian Republic in the Lazio 1 constituency for the PD in 2013 (however, she is currently not a parliamentarian). She was a member of the IX Transport and Telecommunications Commission. From 2014 to 2017, she served as the PD’s national official in charge of Culture and Tourism. In 2018 she was appointed Councillor for Tourism and Equal Opportunities of the Lazio Region by Nicola Zingaretti.
