Dario Franceschini: 300 new hires for MiBACT

Cultural Heritage Minister Dario Franceschini has announced 300 new hires to join the ranks of MiBACT. The statement, reported by ANSA, was made at the opening of Il mestiere e il narratore, an exhibition commemorating the figures of Dario Fo and Franca Rame in Rome’s Palazzo Barberini.

“The reform must be implemented. The directors,” Franceschini said, “have great space for autonomy, the staff remains with the ministry. Five hundred professionals are entering, the competition is almost completed. From the rankings of this competition we will add another two hundred and another hundred administrative, from the Ripam call. I want to get to a thousand.”
