World Health Day: MiBACT thanks all health personnel with flowers of art

Today marks World Health Day, and MiBACT thanks all health care personnel on the front lines against Coronavirus by inviting them to post art flowers

Today is World Health Day, and MiBACT has launched a special initiative to thank all those who are on the front lines of this Coronavirus health emergency.

The Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism is participating in the celebration of World Health Day by inviting people to dedicate thanks to doctors, nurses and all health personnel through the flowers depicted in art history: tulips, lilies, daisies, cyclamens, roses and all the various types of flowers depicted in works (paintings, sculptures, ceramics...), documents and ancient books of Italy’s historical and artistic heritage.

Everyone is invited to participate on social channels by posting flowers from archives, libraries and museums, using the hashtags #WorldHealthDay #WorldHealthDay.
