On the occasion of International Women’s Day, today, March 8, all state museums and cultural sites will be open to all women free of charge.

Also this year, MiBACT has proposed free admission for women and a wide program of events to celebrate this day and to “emphasize the cultural significance of the March 8 holiday.”

Initiatives have been organized throughout Italy in this regard: themed exhibitions, guided tours, lectures, concerts and educational activities.
