Winners of the 2018 Cramum Prize for Contemporary Art awarded: first place winner Andreas Senoner

First prize winner of the 2018 Cramum Prize for Contemporary Art in Italy is Andreas Senoner with the work The double (Forget me not).

The sixth edition of the Cramum Prize for Contemporary Art in Italy directed by Sabino Maria Frassà was won by Andreas Senoner (Bolzano, 1982).

The artist created specifically for the prize a wood and feather sculpture entitled"The double (Forget me not)" depicting a life-size boy. Deliberately placed on the ground in a corner, the sculptural work is intended to signify the helplessness of young people, or perhaps all human beings, in the face of the complexity of reality.

The award ceremony was held at Villa Bagatti Valsecchi in Varedo, during the opening of the international exhibition"I was 20 years old."

Second runner-up for the Cramum Prize is Maria Teresa Ortoleva with the work"Dream is the gap between what we know and what we see," while third runner-up is Ryts Monet with the work"Miracle from 50 Points."
