From Thursday, August 2, 2018, the Baths of Diocletian will be visitable in 3D: the public will have the impression of being in those ancient places in the 4th century AD.
Thanks to a special VR visor, which offers a 360-degree 3D reconstruction of the visitable spaces, the public will be totally immersed in this evocative experience: as they walk through the ancient monument, they will be able to see around them the reconstruction of what these spaces looked like in ancient times.
The 3D tour device can be rented at the ticket office of the Roman National Museum of the Baths of Diocletian for 5 euros. Available in Italian and English.
