Two years after the earthquake in central Italy, MiBAC reports that more than 22 thousand works of art and more than 15 thousand books have been recovered, while archival assets exceed 5 thousand linear meters.
Thanks to the professionalism and commitment of the MiBAC, the Fire Brigade, the Carabinieri of the Nucleo Tutela, the Civil Defense and volunteers, this enormous cultural heritage was rescued from the rubble and is now stored in warehouses set up in the affected regions, namely Abruzzo, Marche, Lazio and Umbria, where the necessary conservation work is being implemented.
On the other hand, there are 1670 properties of cultural interest secured to date.
