Turin's Egyptian Museum receives Gianluca Spina Award for innovation in cultural heritage


On the evening of May 23, the Egyptian Museum of Turin was awarded the Gianluca Spina Prize forDigital Innovation in Cultural Heritage and Activities.

The award is promoted by theOsservatorio Innovazione Digitale nei Beni e Attività Culturali (Digital Innovation in Cultural Heritage and Activities Observatory) of the Politecnico di Milano and is aimed at Italian cultural institutions that have launched particularly significant digital innovation projects in their internal processes or in their offerings to the public.



The award ceremony was held during the conference presenting the Observatory’s results organized in theAula Magna Carassa e Dadda of the Bovisa Campus.

The Egyptian Museum was awarded the right to a scholarship worth 12 thousand euros, made available by theGianluca Spina Association, for participation in the Master in Management of Cultural Heritage and Institutions of MIP, Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Business.
