Tickets sold out for major exhibition Raphael 1520 - 1483 at the Scuderie del Quirinale

The Scuderie del Quirinale announces that it has reached the maximum booking limit for the major exhibition dedicated to Raphael.

Sold out tickets for Rome ’s major event exhibition dedicated to Raphael. With three weeks to go before its scheduled closure on August 30, 2020, the exhibition Raphael 1520 - 1483 is sold out.

The Scuderie del Quirinale announces that it has reached the maximum limit of reservations, based on the capacity calculated for compliance with security measures due to the health emergency by Covid-19.

“The exhibition dedicated to Raphael,” said Mario De Simoni, president of Ales - Scuderie del Quirinale, “has reached maximum capacity and we are forced to have to suspend ticket sales. The response of the public has been extraordinary and exciting. This is why, aware of the unrepeatability of the event, we have ensured maximum effort to ensure the widest possible fruition. We are still receiving many requests, but a sense of responsibility and respect for public health require us to continue with the measures taken, without increasing the number of visitors expected per hour and without being able to further extend the hours, which have already been expanded to the maximum. We sincerely thank the public for the warmth shown toward this splendid project and for their cooperation during the visit, which was subjected to strict security measures, as well as all the workers who concretely made them possible.”

Great success also for the nighttime visits: tickets were sold out in less than a week; in fact, visitors will be able to access the Scuderie del Quirinale until 1 a.m. from August 24 to 27 and even h24 from the morning of August 28 until midnight on August 30. A total of 132 hours will be open for the last week to allow the widest possible number of people to admire Raphael’s masterpieces, exceptionally brought together on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the great artist’s death.
