Starting Tuesday, June 2, Trento’s castles reopen to the public, and for the entire month you can visit them for one euro. Castello del Buonconsiglio, Castel Thun, Castel Beseno and Castel Stenico will welcome the public again after nearly three months of forced closure, with extended hours from 11 am to 6:30 pm.

People will be able to admire the frescoed halls, works of art, deepen their knowledge of the castles through unprecedented ways and enjoy magical experiences: many initiatives will promote direct contact with the heritage preserved in the castles throughout the month of June.

Every Tuesday at 5:30 p.m., appointment with I’ll introduce you to the work: an artifact from the collections, which has not been exhibited for some time or has returned after restoration, will be presented and will remain on view for the entire week, and an expert will accompany visitors through its history and reading; Wednesday through Friday at 5 p. m. 30 Before the Mirror: Know Thyself: a work featured in the tour will stimulate reflections and questions to be shared in a dialogue between museum staff and visitors. At a fixed time and connected to the rostering system via online or telephone reservation, visitors will be able to access the gardens accompanied by museum educators who will provide a detailed introduction to the museum complex and the interior itinerary, which each person can do independently and safely.
Thanks to self-managed kits designed specifically for games and recreation for young children, families will be able to access the extensive green areas of Buonconsiglio, Thun, Beseno and Stenico.
