The Medici Game: Murder at Pitti Palace, the first video game dedicated to the history and masterpieces of the Palatine Gallery of Pitti Palace in Florence, is coming: the official launch is scheduled for October 30, 2019, when the video game will be released on major digital stores in dual versions, Ios and Android; it will be available in many languages: Italian, English, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Chinese and Japanese.

Designed for cell phones and tablets, The Medici Game is set in the rooms of the Medici grand ducal residence, such as the White Room, the Saturn Room, the Prometheus Room, and also in some parts of the Boboli Gardens, such as the Buontalenti Grotto.

The first images and some previews of the game’s contents, as well as its logo, can already be seen on the dedicated Facebook page , and a trailer is available on Youtube .

The protagonist of the video game is Caterina, a young and enterprising art historian who, during a visit to the Pitti Palace, finds herself involved in a mysterious case of murder, which occurred right within the walls of the palace. The girl will have to improvise herself as a detective and solve, thanks in part to her art-historical skills, a long series of puzzles.

The game was created by the TuoMuseo association; it is published by Sillabe and promoted by Opera Laboratori Fiorentini - Civita in collaboration with the Uffizi Galleries.
