Presented at the Archaeological Museum of Ancient Kaulon is the Head of the Sphinx of the Passoliera, a terracotta sculpture found in Kaulonia in the early 20th century.

This morning, August 9, 2018, at 10:30 a.m., the Head of the Sphinx of the Passoliera was unveiled at the Archaeological Museum of Ancient Kaulon.

It is a significant example of terracotta sculpture from the Archaic period found in Kaulonia in the early 20th century. Now the work will be exhibited for the first time at its place of origin.

The Archaeological Museum of Ancient Kaulon, directed by Rossella Agostino, is afferent to the Polo Museale della Calabria headed by Angela Acordon.
