The first hostel entirely dedicated to art is born in Naples, with specially created works

The first Art Hostel, NeapolitanTrips, has been created in Naples.

Conceived by Luca Sola, a young entrepreneur, and his brother Andrea, NeapolitanTrips intends to propose a unique hostel project, where each space houses works by young artists; in fact, it has been called the first urban tourist village.

The common thread of all the spaces is contemporary art: photography, digital art, painting and comics tell the story of the city of Naples, its characters, and its history, giving life to the first Art Hostel. In fact, the protagonists of the works of the eight artists who contributed to the project, namely Luca Arenare, Angela Foria, Omar Mohamed, Marina Bufano, Laura Correale, Giada Piccolo, Flavia Bracale and Roberto Cavalieri, are the iconic themes of Neapolitan life. On the terrace of the bar, Iabo, a street artist, has created a site-specific work, while on the floor of the Premium Hostel, young painter Luca Carnevale has depicted the typical characters of Neapolitan culture in the Humanhero series.

On the other floors of the building are the works of Sergio Siano, while in the B&B rooms are the photos of six Neapolitan artists (Alessandro Pierno, Enrico Napoleone, Diego Loffredo, Andrea Savoia, Luigi Lista, Paola Tufo) selected by Elisabetta Cartiere.

The permanent collection, which is enriched year by year, is alternated for periods of fifteen days by temporary exhibitions in the common areas, which will be inaugurated on Wednesdays, with the intention of promoting the talent of young Neapolitan artists.

NeapolitanTrips is spread over four floors of the historic Casa del Mutilato building in the heart of Naples, just a few steps from the famous Spaccanapoli, and it is possible to choose to stay overnight in Hostel, Premium Hostel, Bed&Breakfast and Hotel Royal.
