On Sunday, September 2, 2018, Basilicata ’s state museums will have free admission on the first Sunday of the month: here the project"10 Photographers for 10 Museums" is being carried out by the Basilicata Museum Pole thanks to the MIBAC’s Contemporary Art Plan.
The exhibitions will remain open to the public until Sept. 15, 2018, and then merge on Sept. 19 into a single major exhibition that will open in Matera, at Palazzo Lanfranchi. In this special free event, conceived by the Polo Museale della Basilicata, as on the 19th of every month, all the museums in the region will give life to special initiatives promoted by the Matera - Basilicata 2019 Foundation.
The ten photographers who participated in the photo review are Francesco Radino (Museum of Palazzo Lanfranchi), Mario Cresci (Archaeological Museum Domenico Ridola in Matera), Pierangelo Laterza (Archaeological Museum of Metaponto), Angela Rosati (Archaeological Museum of the Siritide in Policoro), Francesco La Centra (Museum of the Upper Agri Valley in Grumento Nova), Alfredo Chiarappa (Dinu Adamesteanu Archaeological Museum in Potenza), Cosmo Laera (Massimo Pallottino Archaeological Museum in Melfi), Michele Battilomo (Museum and Archaeological Park in Venosa), Federica Danzi (Archaeological Museum in Muro Lucano) and Luca Centola (Ducal Palace in Tricarico).
