Single ticket for Matera European Capital of Culture 2019 events available from September

The mayor of Matera, Raffaello De Ruggieri, and the president of the"Matera-Basilicata 2019" Foundation, Salvatore Adduce, have announced that those visiting Matera in 2019 will be able to purchase, at a cost of 19 euros and valid for one year, a single ticket to attend the events of the"European Capital of Culture 2019" program. It will be possible to purchase it starting next September.

In recent days, the progress of the"Matera 2019" project was presented in Brussels , in addition to the contents of the call for bids for the Cava del Sole to be used as venues for performances.
De Ruggieri and Adduce said that in Brussels they “appreciated the existence of a climate of harmony between the local political forces, as a guarantee of the program that has been launched.”
