The Ministry of Cultural Heritage’s selection of restorers initiated by the public call for restorers’ qualifications in June 2015 (a kind of odyssey that we also reported on our pages) is perhaps drawing to a close. As of Oct. 22, all candidates who participated in the call for applications can check their position at https://ibox.beniculturali.it. Candidates will thus have three possibilities in front of them: to be in possession of the requirements that would make them eligible for the profession according to Article 182 of Legislative Decree 42 of 2004 (the Cultural Heritage Code), not in possession of the requirements (but still able to submit comments and counterclaims within twenty days from October 22), and ineligible for completeness.
The final piece will be the publication of the final list of those qualified to practice: the list, the ministry announces, will come out following the process of evaluating the comments of those excluded with notice of rejection.
