Piedmont region, 7 million euros to support culture


The Piedmont Region opens a call for more than 7 million euros dedicated to supporting culture.

The Piedmont Region has opened a call for over 7 million euros dedicated to supporting the culture sector, as provided by the RipartiPiemonte law.

The grant supports programs related to one or more of the following areas of activity: 1) film and audiovisual activities; 2) dance activities; 3) musical activities; 4) theater activities (professional theater and promotion of theatrical activities); 5) street performance and contemporary circus; 6) exhibition activities related to plastic and visual arts; 7) activities cultural popularization, understood as conventions, seminars, cultural festivals, scientific and cultural popularization; 8) historical reenactments and carnivals; 9) pre-academic music education; 10) post-academic music training and further education in other performing arts disciplines; 11) adult education; 12) linguistic and cultural heritage of Piedmont; and 13) amateur traditional folk music activities.

The more than 7 million in the call for applications is in addition to the 3 million already earmarked under the Culture Bonus to support operators and allied industries.

Applications must be received from November 4 to November 23, 2020.
