Picasso's villa will go up for sale at auction

The majestic villa "Mas de Notre Dame de Vie," also known as “The Minotaur’s Cave,” the last home of the famous Spanish Cubist painter Pablo Picasso, will be auctioned on Thursday, October 12, 2017.

It had also recently undergone a renovation (between 2007 and 2008), at the time when it was owned by architect Alex Vervoordt, who transformed it into a sumptuous contemporary mansion.
