Palazzo d'Accursio balcony in Bologna visible and accessible again after restoration

The balcony of Bologna ’s Palazzo d’Accursio has been restored and is once again visible and accessible: as a tradition so newlyweds will once again be able to look out onto Piazza Maggiore for a souvenir photo.

The restoration also involved the 16th-century window located under the balcony and the two eagles made of red Verona marble.

Work will continue to restore the monumental portal, as well as part of the roof and attic of the palace and some rooms of the Municipal Art Collections.
