Best visual effects are those of Paul Lambert, Stephen James, Rhys Salcombe and Gerd Nefzer for Dune - Part Two. Sean Baker wins another technical award, that for best editing. The award for best sound goes to Gareth John, Richard King, Ron Bartlett and Doug Hemphill for Dune - Part Two, while it is Daniel Blumberg’s for The Brutalist for best original score. Also on the music side, Emilia Pérez ’s El mal is best original song (lyrics by Clément Ducol, Camille and Jacques Audiard, music by Clément Ducol and Camille). Finally, the awards for short films: best short film is I’m not a robot by Victoria Warmerdam, best documentary short is The Only Girl in the Orchestra - The Story of Orin O ’Brien by Molly O’Brien, and best animated short is Amedama by Daisuke Nishio.
