The castle will therefore return to auction (on a date to be fixed) with a base reduced by an additional 10 percent, or a price similar to the one at which, in May 2017, it was purchased by a company from the Arab Emirates (15.4 million euros), which, however, failed to become the owner of the castle because another company appealed to the court in Florence, and the latter annulled the sale.
