No new janitor found for Vicenza's Teatro Olimpico

The Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza is in need of a new casante janitor to carry out the task of guarding and watching over the famous monument.

The deadline for applications had been set for May 2018, but since the call for applications went unsuccessful, surveillance is being entrusted to security guards until October, at which time a new competition will be prepared, as specified in a determination by the Municipality of Vicenza.

According to the municipal administration, the lack of a janitor will cost the municipality an extra 12,000 euros.
