From July 27 to Sept. 28, 2018, Vesuvian archaeological sites will be visited with night walks accompanied by light and sound.
Participating in the initiative are the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, the Villa of Poppea in Oplontis, theAntiquarium of Boscoreale and for the first time the Villa S.Marco in Stabia, which will be illuminated for the occasion on Fridays and Saturdays from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m.
In Pompeii, starting from Porta Marina, visitors will see illuminated temples and buildings, the stores, the Domus of Triptolemus, the Sanctuary of Apollo, the Capitolium, the Market, the Building of Eumachia, the Basilica, the Palace of Justice, the Temple of Venus and finally the Antiquarium.
The Villa of Poppea at Oplontis is among the splendid examples of villas of the Roman aristocracy, and the Antiquarium at Boscoreale bears witness to Roman-era life in the Vesuvian countryside.
Villa S.Marco in the archaeological area of Stabiae offers for the first time an evocative itinerary with lights and listening to Pliny the Younger’s letter to Tacitus.

Pompeii July 27 and 28; Aug. 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25, 31; Sept. 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 28 at a cost of 7 euros.
