Starting today, the modern art collections of the Pinacoteca di Brera will no longer be visible to the public until 2019, when Palazzo Citterio will be opened.
These collections will in fact be placed in Palazzo Citterio, now under restoration, a historic building adjacent to the famous Pinacoteca.
Brera Art Gallery director James Bradburne said he is “committed that in the meantime the works will be exhibited even while the rooms are closed through a series of loans.”
