The exhibition Frida Kahlo. Beyond the Myth ended, at Mudec in Milan, with a record number of visitors: 358,000.
The exhibition became, thus, one of the ten most visited exhibitions in Milan, in third position to be exact, as well as the most visited exhibition in the history of Mudec since its opening in 2015.
Promoted by the Municipality of Milan-Cultura and 24 ORE Cultura-Gruppo 24 ORE, which is also its producer, and curated by Diego Sileo, the exhibition also recorded another record, according to Mudec’s reports: it was for a full 11 weeks in first place among the most visited exhibitions in Italy.
The public appreciated an exhibition capable of gathering for the first time in Italy in a single location all the works from the Museo Dolores Olmedo in Mexico City and the Jacques and Natasha Gelman Collection, the two most important and extensive Frida Kahlo collections in the world.
