Lombardy region: 1.54 million euros for culture and entertainment


The Lombardy Region has allocated 1.54 million euros to support the culture and entertainment sectors.

The Region of Lombardy has allocated 1.54 million euros to support activities in the culture and entertainment sector, at the proposal of Autonomy and Culture Councillor Stefano Bruno Galli.

“These are important sums for activities that without the concrete support of the Lombardy Region would have had great difficulty in managing annual programming,” said Galli. “An additional effort by the Fontana Council and the Autonomy and Culture Directorate, well aware of the current serious situation. From many quarters the cry of the sector’s businesses is raised high. And Regione Lombardia, once again, concretely demonstrates its willingness to be close to cultural companies.”



Specifically, the sums allocated among the various sectors:

271,944 euros for the Opera Lombardia project, 2020/2021 season;
228,000 euros for Teatri di Tradizione;
180,000 euros for the lead institutions of the Lombardia, Spettacolo dal Vivo circuits selected for the 2018/2020 three-year period;
527,500 euros for theatrical production three-year period 2018/2020;
81,000 euros for music and dance festivals of regional significance selected for the 2018/2020 triennium;
18,000 euros to support the activities of the National Dance Production Center Dancehaus;
110,000 euros for the Fondazione Cineteca Italiana;
122,000 euros for artistic residencies.
