Like Burri, Afro, Calder and Scialoja: CariPerugia Arte Foundation kicks off photo contest

Burri, Afro, Calder and Scialoja in a shot taken in 1956 by Gabriella Drudi, wife of Toti Scialoja: a playful image depicting the four great artists of contemporary art in front of the church of San Bernardino, next to the Basilica of San Francesco al Prato.

A copy of this cheerful photograph was granted by the Scialoja Foundation and displayed at the entrance to Palazzo Baldeschi in Perugia, where the exhibition Unforgettable Umbria. Art at the Center between vocation and patronage.

The CariPerugia Arte Foundation has devised the #4FF(Four Friends Forever) photo contest: to participate, all you have to do is go to the front of the church of San Bernardino in the company of three other friends, observe the famous shot, put yourself in the shoes of the four great artists and have a photo taken that testifies to the same enthusiasm with which Burri, Afro, Calder and Scialoja had their pictures taken.

By sharing your photo with @CariPerugiaArte and tagging other people asking them to do the same, you will be entitled to reduced admission to the exhibition, which brings together paintings and sculptures by more than fifty internationally renowned artists.
