Leonardo da Vinci will speak Cuban. A museum dedicated to the genius will be born in Havana

A new museum dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci will be born in Havana, Cuba. The Tuscan municipality donates a stone from the Conti Guidi Castle.

In Cuba, specifically in Havana, a museum will be dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci: the new museum venue will be located inside the Castillo de Santo Domingo de Atarés and is due to the will of the Oficina del Historiador de la Ciudad de La Habana, on the occasion of the five-hundredth anniversary of the artist’s death and the five-hundredth anniversary of the founding of the Cuban city.

A collaboration between theOficina del Historiador, the Italian Embassy in Cuba and the Municipality of Vinci itself was formed to bring this museum to life. In addition, the city of Vinci will donate a stone from the Conti Guidi Castle, home of the Museo Leonardiano, to Havana for the realization and launch of the project.

The opening of the Cuban museum dedicated to the genius is scheduled for Nov. 13.
