With the new social campaign, MiBACT aims to simultaneously promote art and the pleasure of reading

A social campaign that promotes both art and reading at the same time: this is the purpose of #lartechelegge, an initiative promoted by MiBACT that invites visitors to Italian museums to a real treasure hunt among works of art, photographing and sharing every detail that recalls the pleasure of reading.

To promote the initiative, more than 30 digital posters have been designed depicting characters immersed in reading, such as CorcosPortrait of a Woman at Palazzo Pistilli in Campobasso, Guercino ’s Sibyl Samia at the Palazzo Reale in Genoa, Caravaggio ’s Saint Jerome preserved at the Galleria Borghese or the Night Reader preserved in Mario Praz’s House Museum in Rome.
