In Italy he is also known for lending his face for the advertisement for the men’s perfume Bleu de Chanel, directed by Martin Scorsese, and for his starring role in the film Saint Laurent (2014), where he played the role of the great fashion designer Yves Saint-Laurent, a part that earned him another César Award nomination, this time for best actor. The César for best actor would later come in 2017 for Xavier Dolan’s It’ s Only the End of the World, where Ulliel plays Louis, a terminally ill writer who decides to reunite with his family.
