In Rome, theElizabeth Unique Hotel, the first Concept hotel in the capital, will open on February 15.
Located in a historic palace between Piazza del Popolo and Piazza di Spagna, this hotel is curated by Galleria Russo, which will use the structure as a true extension of the gallery: in fact, in this hotel, it will be possible to admire and even purchase works of art on display.
The exhibition route of this five-star hotel begins at the reception and extends to the rooms where guests will be able to stay.
The works on display between the corridors and in the hotel rooms are the cascade of cortèn steel letters made by Enrico Benetta, Manuel Felisi’s Vertigo of Trees, Giorgio Tentolini’s metal nets, Michael Gambino’s butterfly compositions, Tommaso Ottieri ’s Parisian vision (both day and night), and Veronica Montanino’s installation Domestic Interior.
Bar Bacharach & Bistrot features Veronica Montanino’s compositions characterized by the visual play on mirrors, maps by Luca Di Luzio and Michael Gambino decorate the ceilings of the first- and second-floor corridors, and steel mirror drops and the imposing Dandelion, both by Benetta, decorate the outdoor spaces.
A special app designed by Galleria Russo allows visitors to learn more about the works on display and their creators, recreating an interactive tour of the facility.
