Gabriella Pession will play the role of Tamara de Lempicka

According to some anticipations of the independent Italian production company MaGa Production, the well-known actress of cinema, theater and TV series Gabriella Pession will soon play the role of Tamara de Lempicka (1898 - 1980).

On Sky Arte, starting next spring, a series entitled Io e Lei will be broadcast, dedicated to the great female artists of the 20th century, where in each episode an Italian actress will play an artist. To play the famous Polish artist, an exponent ofArt Deco, the very talented actress has been chosen.

She will be directed by Massimo Ferrari, while the series will be produced by Gaia Capurso’s MaGa Production. The scenes of the episode dedicated to Tamara de Lempicka were shot in Latina at the Palazzo della Cultura, Teatro d’Annunzio and the Duilio Cambellotti Museum.

Gabriella Pession says she is honored to play one of her favorite women and painters and one of the most significant artists of all time.
