Two large sculptures in the shape of bottles to denounce the pollution of the sea due to plastic dispersal. They are theenvironmental installation entitled The Twin Bottles: Message in a Bottle created by sculptor Helidon Xhixha (Durres, 1970) and photographer Giacomo Braglia (Lugano, 1996).
The two floating steel sculptures had been placed in July 2019 in Venice in the Grand Canal, in front of Palazzo Franchetti; then in the garden of the Milan Triennale; and now they have been placed in the space of the Yacht Club de Monaco, in the Principality of Monaco, where they will remain for a few weeks.
A traveling installation against pollution of the seas promoted by the Gabriele and Anna Braglia Foundation. The two artists used their techniques, namely steelwork and 3D photography, to reproduce in augmented scale two floating bottles crushed like abandoned garbage: one molded with stainless steel and then polished and the other covered with photographs of plastic waste taken by Braglia himself.
