Four new Italian cities have joined the UNESCO Creative Cities Network

Until now there were five Italian cities in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network. Now four more new cities have joined.

Four more Italian cities have become Unesco Creative Cities.

The Unesco Creative Cities Network was established in 2004 to promote cities that have made their creativity an element for sustainable urban development.

Until now the Creative Cities in Italy were Bologna for music, Fabriano for crafts and folk traditions, Rome for cinema, Parma for gastronomy and Turin for design.

The four new Italian cities to join the Network are Milan for literature, Alba for gastronomy, Pesaro for music, and Carrara for crafts.

Congratulations to these latest cities!
