Four episodes discovering the Wonders of Italy with Alberto Angela

Starting tonight at 9:20 p.m. on Rai1 Alberto Angela will take us on a discovery of the"Wonders" of Italy.

Four episodes in which he will tell twelve Unesco sites, or three for each evening, with the help of 4K HDR technologies: drones, special effects and mini-fiction.

The first episode will kick off with Leonardo’s Last Supper, continue in Siena and then conclude in Sicily with the Valley of the Temples.

Alberto Angela said, “I have traveled a lot, for work and for passion, crossing with every available means, from time to time, a large part of the globe. I subscribe to this without any problem, no place can be compared to the cultural richness, artistic magnificence and generosity of Italy and the Italians who, we can say, have an inverse sin: that of never bragging enough about their heritage.”

The other three episodes will air on Jan. 10, 17 and 24.
