For June 2, Sky Arte streams free documentary on Quirinale

Sky Arte has decided to celebrate Republic Day in its own way: thus, on June 2, it will broadcast, both on the satellite channel and in free streaming at https://arte.sky.it, the documentary Dentro il Quirinale - Il Palazzo degli Italiani, which will be aired in first viewing at 9:15 p.m. (in streaming, on the other hand, it will be visible starting at 8 a.m. the same day and will be available for 48 hours).

The docufilm about the home of the Presidents of the Republic is produced by Sky Arte in collaboration with Anele and will allow viewers to remotely discover a symbolic place in Italian history, the Quirinale, which is not only a palace of politics but also a museum inside which are precious works of art: all through the words of those who work there.

The story describes an entire day from dawn to dusk, giving body and voice to some exceptional guides: the Quirinale’s workers. There will therefore be testimonies from the commander of the cuirassiers regiment Luciano Magrini, janitor Angelo Rossini, art historian Marco Lattanzi, Cristina Mazzantini, curator of theQuirinale Contemporaneo exhibition; Maria Taboga, head of the tapestry conservation and restoration laboratory; Stefano Valbonesi and Fabrizio Geronimo, technicians and managers of the antique clocks laboratory; chef Fabrizio Boca; Mauro Piacentini, curator of the floral furnishings; Palace marshal Cesare Giovinazzi; and cuirassier Giuseppe Di Costanzo.

Bringing together the plot of the testimonies will be the voice of actor Francesco Pannofino, who is entrusted with the task of taking the viewer by the hand through the places described and creating a narrative thread.
