More than 173,000 euros to dine in the Salone dei Cinquecento in Palazzo Vecchio: this is the amount that Ferrari will have to pay to the City of Florence in order to organize the gala dinner on September 12 (for which a maximum of 198 guests are expected), on the occasion of the celebrations for the Maranello team’s 1,000 Grand Prix in Formula One. No exemptions, then, as was the case for the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show last weekend, and which resulted in a 13-day closure of the museum, including eight days to the public. However, the museum, for the Ferrari dinner, will be closed to the public for two days, Sept. 11 and 12. Compliance with the anti-Covid security measures will be the responsibility of Ferrari, which will have to control theaccess to individual rooms in use, verifying that guests are and remain in numbers compatible with security plans and current regulations (specifically, there may be a maximum of 198 guests), prepare a list of attendance names with telephone contact information, urge participants to maintain an interpersonal distance of six feet where possible and to avoid gatherings, hugs and handshakes, take participants’ body temperatures (those who present a body temperature greater than 37.5° will not be allowed to enter, symptoms of respiratory infection, coughing and shortness of breath), check that participants will compulsorily wear a protective mask that will cover their nose and mouth and sanitize their hands with the use of liquid disinfectant. Ferrari will, of course, also be responsible for fulfilling the obligations regarding permits for the performance of the show.
