Available online is the platform aimed at the first support measures for performing arts activities, namely for the 20 million euros e armarked for performing arts entities not funded by the FUS.
The public notice for the performing arts emergency fund, provided for in the decree signed at the end of April by MiBACT Minister Dario Franceschini, has been published on the website www.spettacolodalvivo.beniculturali.it , initiating procedures for the allocation of 20 million euros to support performing arts realities that did not receive contributions from the FUS in 2019. The speedy timing of registration by the supervisory bodies makes it possible to make available soon a first tranche of the resources allocated from the funds established by the “Cure Italy” decree, launched by the government last March 17, which allocate 130 million euros to the emergencies of the performing arts and cinema.
The resources will be distributed in equal parts to each beneficiary and will be given to entities that apply in accordance with four requirements: provide in the bylaws or deed of incorporation the performance of live entertainment activities; have a registered office in Italy; have not received in 2019 contributions from the FUS; have held between January 1, 2019 and February 29, 2020 a minimum of 15 performances and have paid social security contributions for at least 45 working days or alternatively have hosted, in the period between January 1, 2019 and February 29, 2020, a minimum of 10 performances being in good standing with the payment of social security contributions.
Applications can be submitted using the forms prepared and made available on the Directorate General Entertainment FUS online platform https://www.dos.beniculturali.it/login.php and must be received by 4 p.m. on May 25, 2020.
