European Heritage Days at the Archaeological Park of Paestum

The Paestum Archaeological Park is also participating in European Heritage Days with guided tours, workshops and special openings. The aim of the initiative is to foster dialogue and cultural exchange among the nations of Europe. This edition’s theme is"The Art of Sharing."

On Saturday, Sept. 22, the museum and archaeological area will be open until 10:30 p.m.; from 7:30 p.m., visiting the area is limited to the Southern Sanctuary only, namely Neptune’s Temple and Basilica.
Until 7 p.m. the ticket, including entrance to the museum and archaeological area will cost 9.50 euros; from 7 p.m. it will cost 1 euro.
There will be many initiatives throughout the day on September 22: free guided tours of the exhibition "The Invisible Image. The Tomb of the Diver"; at 11 a.m. there will be #FamilyLabPaestum dedicated to the same exhibition. At 12 noon"Paestum Viva": free music, dance and music therapy workshop among the temples of Paestum for adults and children. At 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., free guided tours of the Southern Sanctuary with"Paestum by Night" by the user assistants.
In the evening, at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. guided tours garuite to the treasures hidden in the museum’s basement.

Ticket cost per visit to the storerooms: € 1.00 to be added to the cost of the Park entrance ticket, which from 19:00 costs € 1.00 - with season ticket or with Adopt-a-Block card € 1.00.

On Sunday, September 23, the museum and archaeological area will be open until 7:30 pm.
At 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. there will be Taste Workshops with Slow Food Cilento dedicated to "What a fig! The monnato of Prignano Cilento." Participation is by group for a maximum of 20 participants.
Reservation required by noon on Saturday, September 22.

Cost of the workshop: 3 euros, which each participant must add to the Museum and archaeological area entrance fee or PaestumMia season ticket.
