The huge twelve-meter statue created by Urs Fischer and placed in the middle of Florence’s Piazza della Signoria, named"Big Clay #4," was defaced with the use of a spray can by a man who drew a red oval of more than a meter in the lower part of the work.

The man responsible for the vandalism was caught in the act around 8 a.m. this morning and charged with damage and defacement.
