Not only that, but also not to be apostrophized as ’an exhibition place of things lacking the quality of cultural heritage,’ being dismissed with a few lines written in bureaucratic language. This is not the way to help culture. We will try to continue with the little help we have and with the resources that come from teaching courses and the ticket office (as soon as they will allow us to reactivate them), keeping up our commitment to pay rent to the City of Milan and all the very high expenses of ordinary management, including the very high energy bills that drain our meager budgets every month even when the museum is closed. Unfortunately, from this perspective, the future outlook is as uncertain as ever and increasingly headed toward an inevitable closure.”

Minister Franceschini announced in a note that he has signed a decree allocating an additional 17 million euros for the refurbishment of non-state museums, including hitherto excluded realities, including the Museo del Fumetto in Milan.
