Beatrice Susa, founder of the Arte Laguna Prize, one of the most established awards in the field ofcontemporary art, left us on May 10 at the age of just 36. The Prize reached its 11th edition this year and, from 2006 to the present, managed to bring to Venice, the city where it was held (and where Beatrice Susa was originally from) hundreds of works of art by artists from 120 countries.
Beatrice Susa, who was diagnosed with cancer two years ago, leaves behind her husband, Enrico Mancosu, to whom she was married just last year, her mother Barbara and sister Eleonora.
