Street artists from around the world have created several works to say stop the war, to make its proximity felt to the people affected by this dramatic situation.

In Paris, street artist Seth depicted in his mural a little girl with a garland of flowers on her head holding the flag of Ukraine as she steps on tanks. Still in the French capital, street artist Kelu Abstract depicted the Ukrainian flag with a large blindfolded face in profile shouting “Fight 4 your rights.”

In Berlin, Colombian Vilu painted a Ukrainian woman in traditional clothing. And also in the German capital, artist Eme Freethinker depicted on a portion of the Berlin Wall in Mauerpark two young men, one Russian and one Ukrainian, recognizable by the different flags painted on their respective cheeks, embracing each other accompanied by the large inscription “Stop war” colored blue and yellow, the colors of the Ukrainian flag.

In Binnish, Idlib province in northwestern Syria, Syrians Aziz Asmar and Anis Hamdoun created a mural in the colors of the Russian and Ukrainian flags.

In Texas, in Austin, street artist Sef painted a child whose open hand in the foreground shows the words Stop war.

In Italy, on the other hand, in Rome, the works of Harry Greb and Laika appeared: the former depicted near the Colosseum Vladimir Putin drawing some missiles on the symbol of peace, the latter depicted in Piazzale Ostiense two women, one Ukrainian and one Russian, crying embracing dressed in the colors of their respective flags.
