The Verona City Council passed a resolution yesterdayauthorizing the holding of performances of theArena di Verona ’s 100th opera festival until1 a.m., due to thepublic interest related to the festival’s centennial celebrations. The performances will be allowed to end after midnight, as an exception to noise limits set by municipal regulations.
