Paestum Archaeological Park director Gabriel Zuchtriegel played a rhythmic Yiddish version of “Bella Ciao” on the piano, accompanied by cellist Aurelio Bertucci.

The notes echoed last night from the Temple of Neptune for an anthem against racism.
Through music they underscored the need for openness to other peoples, equality and acceptance.
