Agrigento, Luigi Pirandello's house museum reopens, with narrator Leo Gullotta's voice

The Region of Sicily reopens from Dec. 10 the Luigi Pirandello House Museum, the birthplace in Agrigento of the famous writer and Nobel Prize winner for literature in 1934. The home has been upgraded and refurbished with multimedia supports in the exhibition itinerary. President of the Sicilian Region Nello Musumeci and Cultural Heritage Councillor Alberto Samonà will be present at the reopening ceremony.

Following maintenance, upgrades and the removal of architectural barriers, the House Museum offers a state-of-the-art immersive and multimedia tour among original texts, archival audiovisual materials and specially composed music. Guiding the visit will be the narrative voice of Leo Gullotta. An app available for iOS and Android will give access to various in-depth content, such as texts, audio and augmented reality. Finally, the visit will be enhanced by a Virtual Tour with 360-degree images, created with Matterport technology and accessible from any device.

The new layout has been taken care of by Tim and Ett. All the content has been created under the supervision and scientific coordination of Professor Sarah Zappulla Muscarà and lawyer Enzo Zappulla, among the leading Pirandello experts and scholars, under the supervision of the Agrigento Superintendency of Cultural Heritage.
