Eleven volumes, ten hours of storytelling to narrate the developments and historical-artistic events of one of the most intense periods in art history: the great artists of the sixteenth century in Florence can therefore also be listened to, through audiobooks lasting about an hour each, evocative and fascinating, and all characterized by clarity, rigor, and quality. The series consists of eleven audiobooks dedicated to ten important artists-Michelangelo (in two volumes), Fra’ Bartolomeo, Andrea del Sarto, Pontormo, Rosso Fiorentino, Baccio Bandinelli, Benvenuto Cellini, Bartolomeo Ammannati, Bronzino, and Giorgio Vasari. Biography, major works, art-historical, historical and social context of reference, technique and style are presented of each of them.
